MusicAngel ("we", "us") is a platform that connects couples in Ireland with four live wedding bands: The Beat Boutique, Sway Social, The Best Men and Blacktye. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.
Who we are

What we collect
- Enquiry form: name, partner name, email, wedding date, venue, preferred band, message.
- Analytics: if you accept cookies, Google Analytics 4 collects anonymised usage data (pages viewed, device type, approximate location at country level, time on page). IP is anonymised before storage.
- Server logs: our hosting providers record standard request logs for security and uptime.
Why we collect it
- Enquiry data, to respond to your enquiry and check band availability. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in running our business.
- Analytics, to understand how the site is used so we can improve it. Legal basis: your consent (you can withdraw it by clicking Decline in our cookie banner or clearing cookies).
Who we share it with
- The relevant band whose availability you're enquiring about.
- Service providers: Resend (email delivery), Google Analytics, and our hosting providers. Each acts as a data processor under written agreements.
- We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are retained for up to 3 years (in case you come back for an anniversary event). Analytics data is retained for 14 months. You can request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You have the right to: access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict processing, object to processing, and data portability. Email jo.musicangel@gmail.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
You can complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission: dataprotection.ie.
